Aeromexico increases its services between Shanghai and Mexico City

Starting July 1st, Aeromexico will incorporate its third frequency bound to Mexico City and with this new service, the airline will offer an additional 277 seats to the Chinese market.

SHANGHAI – Aeromexico, Mexico’s global airline, announced that starting July 1st, will add an additional frequency between Shanghai and Mexico City operated on Sunday, summing up three weekly flights a week, as part of the airline’s expansion plan and in order to satisfy its passengers travel needs.
 
Being the only airline in Latin America that has connected for more than four years China with the American Continent, throughout its wide destination network, Aeromexico show its effort to strength the bilateral relationship between the two countries in benefit of all its clients.
 
With three flights per week, Aeromexico will offer more than 1,500 seats on its route, thanks to the services operated by the Boeing 777, with a capacity of 277 seats – 49 on business and 228 on coach class- per flight, that offers personalize entertainment system, more space between roads, as well as full flat seats on Clase Premier (Aeromexico Business Class).
 
In this way, Aeromexico services bound to Mexico City will offer the following itinerary:
 
Shanghai – Mexico City *
 
Flight Departure Arrival Frequency
AM 099 10:45 hrs. 14:00 hrs. Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday
 
Mexico City – Shanghai*
 
Flight Departure Arrival Frequency
AM 098 21:45 hrs. 06:00
(+2 days) Tuesday, Friday and Sunday

Stopover in Tijuana
Furthermore, and with the main purpose to attend Asian travel needs, Aeromexico operates since April, its fourth frequency between Tokyo and Mexico City, services that summarize the airline commitment with this growing market.
 
Jorge Goytortua, Aeromexico VP Corporate Sales, said: “We are aware that with the new services added; we will be able to cover the Asian market travel needs by offering more than 3,500 seats a week in benefit of all our clients and the bilateral relationship between the countries“.
 
In this way, Chinese and Japanese passengers will have the chance to flight seven times a week to Mexico City and continue their journey to 45 cities in Mexico, 16 destinations in the US and 13 attractive hot spots in Latin America that Aeromexico offers.
