A unique on-line tool in the area of meeting & event planning is now available

DestinationPro is a solution allowing independent execution of events and incentive programs. If anyone needed to organize a corporate meeting, business trip, training, bonus (incentive) trip for employees, conference, etc., he/she usually took advantage of services provided by one of the specialized agencies (DMCs). Based on the client’s specification, such agency proposed agenda and individual suppliers (accommodation, restaurants, venues, transportation, logistic, etc.), subsequently ensuring and executing the whole event.

We are living in the world of increasing budget pressures and our industry is changing. In order to ensure transparency of costs and to produce tangible savings, event planners increasingly use the Internet as the primary source of information when planning and executing events, often leaving intermediary agencies outside of the process to save costs but at the possible expense of being able to guarantee the standard of services. To meet the needs of clients, we have created a unique internet solution called DestinationPro.com.

With this valuable information, an event planner will be able to execute events directly, without an intermediary. Moreover, what sets DestinationPro.com apart from other on-line tools – this portal is not anonymous. The portal in each destination is supported by local professionals, which gives the opportunity to consult them or ask for complete organization services at any stage of event planning.

The launching destination is Prague and Czech Republic. Continuous expansion to other European countries is under way.

“All specialized surveys carried out in the past years have clearly indicated that the trend consisting in the shift of a major part of tourism to the Internet is inevitable. At first sight, for Incentives & Meetings it may seem as a step into the unknown. However, following several months of thorough preparations, we have decided to take that step,” says Linda Benmammar, Managing Partner of the project, about the significant change.

The portal was being developed for more than a year in cooperation with a number of experts in the area of Internet, tourism, research, and marketing. The uniqueness of the portal consists in the system, which allows online selection and contacting of all types of suppliers necessary for an organization of any event. An organizer may choose from a range of programs and directly address any of the proven suppliers for each individual activity. One of the two main sections of the portal – the so-called “Suppliers Guide” – provides information about suppliers with a level of detail unrivalled on global basis. Furthermore, it is fitted with state-of-the-art support tools – possibility to create an on-line database containing all information about proven suppliers. This database is accessible from anywhere and can be shared with other colleagues. Based on the provided information, it is actually possible to organize small to large-size events directly with suppliers. In addition to this, end-users – either corporate companies or agencies – will save up to a 30% of their costs.

“Although some customers prefer personal approach, the significant financial savings tend to be a critical argument. Moreover, DestinationPro is not an anonymous portal, as it also offers personal assistance of DMC professionals, who can always help to organize the event from A-Z” Benmammar explains the project nature.

All these services are offered by DestinationPro – publicly on the internet, in a simple and transparent manner, and – above all – without any commission. A client will get the necessary information, contact the selected supplier directly, savings up to a third of the event execution. However, at any stage of the event planning a client can ask for personal help, advices, recommendation provided by local professionals – a DMC which stands behind the portal in each destination.

“The extent and detail of data as well as the credibility thereof is a priority for us. The data on individual entities are regularly updated and authorized by a dedicated expert team,” reveals Linda Benmmamar.

In order to meet challenging requirements for top-notch professionalism and competitiveness, the system is very complex from the perspective of its internal structure, individual sections, data uploads, and business. However, end-users or registered entities are not be affected at all. They deal with a user-friendly, transparent, and simple portal. The transparency is facilitated by such tools as “Special Offers” section, introduction video, blogs, News and others.
