BaishanCloud to provide cloud delivery services for Booking.com

Baishan's cloud delivery solutions effectively address the challenges faced by Booking.com with respect to cross-border network latency and service availability in the local market.

BEIJING – BaishanCloud (Baishan), a provider of cloud data services in China, announced that it has inked a service contract with Booking.com, a leading global online travel e-commerce company. Under the terms of the contract, Baishan will provide Booking.com with customized cloud delivery solutions into the China market.

Geared toward improving overall user experience, Baishan’s cloud delivery solutions effectively address the challenges faced by Booking.com with respect to cross-border network latency and service availability in the local market. Based on geographical distribution of users, Baishan customized solutions utilize intelligent routing algorithm, TCP optimization and optimization of kernel to ensure high service performance for Booking.com.

Baishan’s high performance cloud delivery platform is bringing much improved user experience in China in that the screen loading time and page response time of Booking.com’s online services in China have been significantly reduced. According to Catchpoint, a third party web performance monitoring company, Baishan’s solutions for Booking.com have helped reduce the acquisition time of first byte by 89% and page response time by 92%. Overall service availability is subsequently enhanced.
