ONYX North Asia bags eleven prestigious awards

HONG KONG – The North Asia division of ONYX Hospitality Group has received eleven accolades to date in 2015 and in 2014 in Hong Kong, mainland China and the Asia Pacific region. The awards include the most recent, the TripAdvisor 2015 Travellers’ Choice “Top Hotels for Families in China” and the “Best Serviced Apartment in China Award” by Travel & Leisure China Travel Awards. Two newly opened properties Shama Heda Hangzhou and Grand Pujian Residence are also awarded. These awards take ONYX Hospitality Group a step closer to reaching its goal of becoming Asia’s leading hospitality provider by 2018.

 

The prestigious “Top Hotels for Families in China” was awarded to Shama Century Park Shanghai on 26 January 2015. This elite honour is awarded to the top 1% of all hotels on TripAdvisor, based on the reviews and opinions of millions of travellers. Shama Century Park Shanghai offers its guests ultimate comfort and a convenient location. Its extensive services and facilities are perfect for families, such as the fully equipped clubhouse with a heated indoor swimming pool, a residents’ lounge and a children’s indoor activity area.

 

At the Travel & Leisure China Travel Awards 2014, Shama Century Park Shanghai was awarded “Best Serviced Apartment in China” on 12 February 2015. The awards, organised by the renowned travel magazine, recognise the outstanding operators in the hospitality and tourism industry in China.

 

One of the properties opened in 2014, Shama Heda Hangzhou, is awarded Best Newly Opened Serviced Apartment of The Year at AHF Asia Hotel Awards 2014, which has been recognized as one of the most important hotel investment awards in the hotel industry internationally. And the other new property Grand Pujian Residence is also awarded Best New Serviced Apartment Pudong Award at the Best Homes of China Award 2014 organized by the renowned City Weekend magazine.
