Aeroflot named The Best Travel Brand in China

The Beijing News award once again proves the effectiveness of Aeroflot’s Strategy, attributing a great attention to the development of the Airline’s activity on the growing markets of East Asia.

MOSCOW – Aeroflot was awarded as The Best Travel Brand 2014 in China by the leading Beijing newspaper The Beijing News. The solemn ceremony was held in Beijing.
 
The Chinese market is a key market for the largest Russian airline. Aeroflot shows the significant growth in passenger traffic on the Chinese destinations: more than 15% comparing with 2013, with the share of transfer passengers more than 50%.
 
The development of aviation transit between Europe and Asia is a crucial point in Aeroflot’s Strategy. The Russian national carrier offers the best transfer network between Asia, Europe and the US with convenient connections in Moscow Sheremetyevo airport. Due to the optimized routes system passengers could save up to 2 hours of flight in comparison with other foreign hubs.
 
Aeroflot main competitive advantages are: the youngest fleet among the world’s major airlines (100 and more aircraft in operation), impeccable punctuality and the highest level of service on board. These allowed the Russian carrier to obtain leadership positions on the Asian regional market, significantly contributing to the development of relations between two friendly countries.
 
The Beijing News award once again proves the effectiveness of Aeroflot’s Strategy, attributing a great attention to the development of the Airline’s activity on the growing markets of East Asia.
 
Last year Aeroflot was also awarded as The Best Foreign Airline in The Republic of Korea. Russian carrier received the maximum score in the ranking published by the leading Korean magazine in the field of tourism – Global Travel Newspaper Korea.
