New York – The Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) has appointed Geoffrey Weill Associates (WEILL) to handle its United States public relations program effective immediately. “We are honored and thrilled to have been chosen,” says Geoffrey Weill, “and we look forward to helping augment the number of Americans visiting Japan, especially in light of the 2020 Summer Olympics.

While one of WEILL’s tasks will be to work with the organization’s Enjoy my Japan campaign, it will mainly concentrate on widening Americans’ interest in being exposed to and seeing more of Japan than just Tokyo and Kyoto, and to underscoring to travelers that Japan is both affordable and much closer than many other destinations on Americans’ bucket lists.

I first visited Japan more than four decades ago,” Weill continued, “and it has long been one of my favorite and most beloved places to travel.”
