SINGAPORE – Celebrity Cruises has appointed a new dedicated head of sales and marketing for the Asia region. Ms Apple Woo, an experienced hospitality industry professional, joins the Singapore-based Asia team of Celebrity Cruises with immediate effect.
Ms Woo will report to Ms Jo Rzymowska, Celebrity Cruises’ recently appointed vice president and managing director, Asia. Ms Rzymowska added responsibility for Asia to her UK and Ireland remit for the global business at the end of 2016, and has overseen the cruise line’s second largest market for over ten years.
Ms Rzymowska is responsible for Celebrity Cruises’ operations in China, India, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. She leads the Singapore-based five-strong team including the new head of sales and marketing.

Ms Woo has also worked throughout South East Asia and in Dubai, and adds strong knowledge of those regions to the Celebrity Cruises Asia team. The new role will also include working alongside Celebrity Cruises’ travel industry partners in Asia to support their business development efforts.
