LAS VEGAS – The HOSPY Awards recognises individuals and firms for extraordinary achievement in architecture, design, and development in the hospitality industry. Crown Perth‘s winning spaces were designed by Las Vegas based firm, Cagley & Tanner, which has extensive experience in high end residential, resort and casino design.
This exceptional achievement is a credit to Crown Perth’s recent large-scale and complex-wide capital expenditure. The resort has undergone a significant transformation though it’s AUD$750m refurbishment including upgrades to VIP facilities, hotels, restaurants and gaming areas.
The Sky Gaming Salon at Crown Perth was awarded Best Gaming Space and tied first place with the new High limit slot area at Wynn Las Vegas. One of 40 entrants, Crown Perth’s Sky Gaming Salon, located on the roof top of Crown Metropol Perth, is an integral part of the revitalised VIP six star offering at the resort. This private gaming space includes a custom designed crystal portal feature, luxurious finishes, bespoke architectural detailing and wrap-around balconies and decks overlooking the Swan River and Perth City Skyline.
The glamorous main resort-style pool at Crown Metropol Perth was awarded Best Resort Pool. It stretches across a massive 6,200 square metres and boasts some amazing features including a new heated indoor pool facility, a dedicated kids pool with two water slides, semi-submerged Chaise Lounges, day beds and ‘The Enclave’, which consists of spectacular cabanas surrounding a private plunge pool and spa.
