Botanical: Plant Seekers with RHS Director of Horticulture, Jim Gardiner
Designed in exclusive partnership with the RHS and led by Jim Gardiner, RHS Director of Horticulture, visitors can follow the footsteps of the original plant seekers and discover the diverse flora of Mount Emeishan, home to a tenth of China’s plant species including Emeishan’s signature tree Davida involucrate. Visitors will discover the botanical paradise of the Nine Villages Valley with over 2,500 plant species, before journeying to the scenic Ganhaizi Wetland in search of endless bulbs and perennials and the UNESCO listed Huanglong, with its mesmerising sparkling pools. The tour also visits the World Horticultural Expo Garden, UNESCO site Lijang, the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and the capital of the Sichuan Province, Chengdu.

Culinary: A Taste of China personally crafted by acclaimed Chinese chef, Ching He Huang
Designed in collaboration with internationally acclaimed Chinese Chef, Ching He Huang, this 11 day tour draws on China’s culinary treasures offering a harmonious food and travel experience through Beijing, Xian, Chengdu and Shanghai. As well as the main sights including the Forbidden City, the Great Wall and Terracotta Warriors, guests will enjoy the many flavours of China, visiting local restaurants and markets and enjoying intimate food demos and cooking classes that have been handpicked by Ching. Tour departs 24th May 2014 for 11 days

This 14 day tour allows guests to capture the iconic sights and hidden treasures of this breathtaking and diverse country, guided along the way by professional photographers who are on hand to assist with artistic and technical elements of capturing that perfect shot. Starting in Beijing, guests will visit the Temple of Heaven where they can enjoy beautiful landscaped grounds before travelling to Jinshanling, one of the most authentic parts of the Great Wall. From there, the tour continues to Xian visiting the photogenic Wild Goose Pagoda and the intricately crafted Terracotta Warriors. Guests will also get the chance to cruise the Li River, passing limestone hills and tranquil fishing scenes, the stalagmites and stalactites of the Reed Flute Caves and the Giant Pandas in Chengdu. Tour departs 19th April 2014 for 14 days.
