Deputy Prime Minister Vu Khoan has stressed the significance of a programme for promoting tourism and trade between Viet Nam and Germany on the occasions of a high-level meeting between the two countries` leaders.
Speaking of the programme launched by the Vietnam Airlines and the Vietnamese Embassy in Berlin on Wednesday, Khoan said that during discussions on bilateral cooperation, Viet Nam and Germany paid special attention to the development of tourism and air travel for mutual understanding and socio-economic development.
Earlier, Khoan and German Minister for Economics and Labour Wolfgang Clement discussed the prospect of and urgent issues in economic cooperation between Viet Nam and Germany.
