TTG Asia Media and National Business Travel Association (NBTA) are teaming up to launch the first annual China Corporate Travel & Technology World (CT&TW), to be held on April 22 – 24, 2007 in Shanghai, China. The new Millennium Hongqiao Hotel Shanghai, the first Millennium Hotel in China, will be venue and ‘Official Hotel’ for CT&TW 2007. This first-of-its-kind event is expected to bring together more than 300 corporate travel managers and suppliers from China, the rest of Asia-Pacific, and the United States for education and networking opportunities.

TTG’s managing director, Darren Ng said, “We’re pleased to be partnering with NBTA for the first China CT&TW. Combining the resources of U.S.-based NBTA, the world’s leading business travel association, and TTG Asia Media, Asia-Pacific’s foremost travel publishing and event company, ensures that this event will receive the maximum exposure and stature quickly, and attendees of this conference will receive the best educational value possible.”

“We look forward to working with NBTA and leading suppliers in the business travel industry to offer a conference of a high quality and magnitude to the corporate travel community,” he added.

The conference will offer four main education sessions and three general sessions, featuring more than 20 international business travel experts from the United States and the Asia-Pacific region speaking on topics including procurement, technology and the latest industry trends. The conference will also include a technology showcase highlighting the products and services of leading technology providers from the West and Asia-Pacific. Each showcased product is aimed at improving travel management processes and the productivity of corporate travel managers and travel management companies.

NBTA President and CEO Suzanne Fletcher remarked, “Asia-Pacific is in many ways the most important region in an increasingly global economy. NBTA is thrilled to expand our offerings to include an event in China focused on corporate travel. Together with TTG Asia Media, we will bring together corporate travel leaders from around the world with interest in effectively managing travel in Asia-Pacific and give them a unique opportunity to network and to advance their expertise.”

The education sessions for China CT&TW will offer simultaneous interpretation in English and Mandarin. The event will offer participants numerous networking opportunities during the various social functions including the welcome reception, breakfasts, coffee breaks and luncheons.
