The leaders of the exhibition industry gathers in Istanbul

UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, will gather the leaders of the exhibition industry at its 75th Congress in Istanbul Turkey, from 12-15 November 2008.

Open to UFI members only, the 75th UFI Congress will bring together exhibition organizers, exhibition centre managers, partners of the industry and related national and international associations in this unique annual forum which will examine “Winning Business Models”.

UFI, promotes, serves and represents the trade fair industry worldwide. Via its member organizations, including the world’s leading show organizers and fairground operators, professional associations and industry partners, UFI is present in more than 80 countries covering 6 continents.

As per November 2007 UFI has more than 440 members of which 17 members are from Turkey. The members of UFI are responsible for the management and operation of over 4.500 exhibitions. The UFI Approved Event certificate, given by UFI to exhibitions of its members after having inspected the relevant show, is a well respected seal of quality in the international exhibition industry.

On 15-16 March 2007, UFI’s Execute Committee, Board of Directors and the European Chapter members meetings were held in Istanbul. Hosted by our company HKF Trade Fairs, approximately 100 guests including their partners attended these meetings and left Istanbul with fulfilled impressions. As a result of this, UFI decided to organize the 75th CONGRESS in Istanbul on 12-15 November 2008. 350 delegates and approximately 150 partners are expected to append the 75th UFI CONGRESS, which will be organized in the Ceylan Intercontinental Hotel in Istanbul.
