Sydney Exhibition Centre @ Glebe island welcomes EEAA delegates

Delegates to the 2013 Event and Exhibition Association of Australasia (EEAA) conference will see Sydney’s new interim facilities up close on Monday 25 November at the EEAA 2013 Welcome Reception.

SYDNEY – The EEAA 2013 Conference and Awards will be held in Sydney on 25 and 26 November 2013, with Sydney Exhibition Centre @ Glebe Island (SEC@GI) the major sponsorship partner for the welcome reception. The event will be held on the John Cadman 2, which will include Glebe Island on its route as it cruises the harbour.

SEC@GI General Manager Malu Barrios said the EEAA 2013 Welcome Reception will serve as the ideal forum for showcasing to intrastate and interstate visitors features of the new interim facilities including the convenient location of SEC@GI.

“It is a unique location, with amazing views across the harbour to the Anzac Bridge and the Sydney Harbour Bridge as well as the city, which we will be able to showcase at this event. Delegates will be able to get a real idea of what the venue will look like when it opens in 2014,” Ms Barrios said.

The first exhibition will be held at SEC@GI in February 2014.
