Southall Travel named Asian Business of the Year

One of the UK’s largest travel companies, Southall Travel, has been named ‘Asian Business of the Year’ at the Asian Business Awards, with Chief Executive Officer Kuljinder Bahia collecting the award at the prestigious ceremony in central London.
 
The gala ceremony, which took place at the Park Plaza Hotel Westminster on Friday evening, celebrated the successes of entrepreneurs from the community with Southall Travel, taking home the most prestigious award of the evening, after it was named Asian Business of the Year.
 
As an outstanding business with a proven track record of consistent commercial success, Southall Travel was also recognised as a business with a vision for growth and a business with strong leadership, professional management and talent development at all levels.
 
During the ceremony, the Asian Rich List was also announced and with a value of £400m, CEO Kuljinder Bahia was named the 19th richest Asian in Britain. 
 
Speaking after receiving the award, presented on stage by Priti Patel, the Minster of State for Employment, Kuljinder Bahia, Chief Executive Officer of Southall Travel said, “We are delighted to have won this prestigious award and I would like to take this opportunity to thank every member of my team for making this possible.
