Sky Bird upgrades airline e-itineraries

truvle Ltd. announced that the air ticket consolidator will provide travel agencies with graphics and information-rich e-itineraries using the groundbreaking truvle software.

“We’re delighted to partner with Sky Bird to deliver this enhanced service,” said Alon Zaibert, C.E.O., truvle Ltd. “Working with Sky Bird, agents can provide colorful, easy-to-read e-itineraries that leverage the Internet to make travel easier and more enjoyable for their clients.”

The pioneering truvle software works with multiple GDSs, giving e-itineraries an attractive, uniform look with helpful, customized content. Itineraries feature colorful graphics, images, logos, ads and information. Content is tailored to each passenger’s travel dates, departure and arrival cities, flight class and more.

Personalizes Travel
One of the smartest features of the new truvle e-itineraries is the Personal Home Page. The software can offer recommendations for shopping, dining, cultural attractions, hotels, recreation, nightlife, entertainment, timely events and more in destination cities. Other information facilitates travel even more, including e-maps, weather updates, currency exchange rates, news, sports scores, airport information and photos.

Additionally, the new Sky Bird e-itineraries will feature easy integration into Microsoft Outlook, SMS flight alerts and links for airline check-in. Content is continually updated. For added convenience, travelers can insert trip details into calendars on their computers, cell phones and PDAs.

“Sky Bird’s enhanced e-itineraries have real value for our customers,” Mr. Arvin Shah, C.E.O. of Sky Bird Travel, explains. “Travel agents and providers can get ahead of the competition in the booming online travel business with these upgraded e-itineraries serving as a one-stop source for flight itineraries as well as for tours, restaurants, concerts, shows, sporting events and more.”
