Shangri-La’s Golden Circle programme offers “Less Is More” redemption savings promotion

Golden Circle members can redeem free room nights with fewer GC award points.

HONG KONG – Members of Shangri-La’s Golden Circle Programme can enjoy savings with the “Less is More” redemption promotion from 16 July 2013 until the end of the year. The promotion enables GC members to redeem rooms with fewer Golden Circle (GC) Award Points. Unbeatable discounts start at 25 per cent off the number of points required for a standard room; 30 per cent off a Club Room and 40 per cent off an Executive Suite at selected Shangri-La, Kerry or Traders hotel worldwide.

The “Less is More” promotion kicked off at noon Hong Kong time on 16 July 2013. Participating hotel destinations are updated every fortnight. When each batch of new participating hotels is updated, members will be notified fortnightly and they can make the reservations within one week to take advantage of this exclusive offer.

“After the launch of City Triple, we’re continuing the momentum by introducing another exclusive promotion to allow members who have accumulated GC Award Points to redeem stays at our hotels with fewer points, ‘Less is More’. These initiatives demonstrate our commitment and desire to make Golden Circle one of the most attractive hotel rewards programmes that is truly meaningful to our valued members,” said Ng Wee Kee, vice president of loyalty and partner marketing.

Hong Kong-based Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, one of the world’s premier hotel companies, currently owns and/or manages 81 hotels under the Shangri-La brand with a room inventory of over 34,000. Over four decades the group has established its brand hallmark of ‘hospitality from the heart’. The group has a substantial development pipeline with upcoming projects in mainland China, India, Mongolia, Philippines, Qatar, Sri Lanka and the United Kingdom.
