Select Hotels & Resorts International, Asia Pacific’s collection of luxury properties, has appointed Synxis Inc. to provide all its reservation management system requirements.
Richard Rosebery, Managing Director of Select said: “The appointment of Synxis is a critical decision at this time in the group’s development. It ensures that we will have the best available and best-supported system to satisfy our diverse range of needs covering GDS and Travel Portal distribution, a booking engine for our guests with an instant confirmation facility on our Select website and essential support for our internal central reservation system with our emerging exponential growth. Additionally, it will be used as the booking engine on Select Members’ own web sites so it ties everyone very neatly together.”
Mr. Rosebery continued, “We are also enchanted by the additional and unique opportunities provided for our members with the Synxis RedX system. Additional items can be easily combined with the accommodation reservation; airport transfers, accommodation upgrades, on premise restaurant reservations, breakfast, or anything at all a property wished to offer for sale prior to their guest’s arrival. Select members can also manage their wholesale agreements within the system by providing specific inventory and rates to their various wholesale partners.”
