China’s outbound tourism sector grew by 4% when most of the international tourism declined. A new publication by the China Outbound Tourism Research Institute, the COTRI Yearbook 2010, presents a valuable collection of academic papers and case studies about the background of the development of China’s outbound tourism.
In his Foreword to the COTRI Yearbook, Taleb Rifai, Secretary-General UNWTO United Nations World Tourism Organization gives his view: “The COTRI Yearbook 2010 offers a variety of articles from distinguished scholars and tourism experts from China and other countries.
