PATA Invites Nominations and Applications for a Chief Operating Officer, a position which could be filled before the end of the year.
BANGKOK- The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), founded in 1951 and based in Bangkok since 1998, seeks to recruit a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to support its “next generation” business building activities for its 700+ public & private corporate members across 17 time zones. PATA has been looking to strengthen the coordination of its activities at the association’s headquarters.
The COO will be based at PATA’s operational headquarters in Bangkok supporting the CEO and coordinating research priorities, event delivery and aligned advocacy activities with 30+ staff and 40 Chapters.
The candidate’s preferred attributes should include:
– Focus on delivering innovative and timely outcomes
– Relevant senior management experience with strong strategic planning, prudent financial, budgeting and analytical skills
– Demonstrated experience in building and leading teams
– Familiarity with the not-for-profit corporate environment and association management
Remuneration will be commensurate with experience.
