MMGY and Dragon Trail announce strategic alliance in China

Dragon Trail’s new consumer-facing platform TripShow.com, which is built on top of Sina Weibo, the most engaging social media platform in China, already the second most active social media platform in the world behind only Facebook, enables travel organizations and Chinese consumers to connect.

KANSAS CITY, MO. / BEIJING, CHINA – MMGY Global, the integrated travel marketing firm, and digital marketing agency and travel technology company Dragon Trail Interactive, headquartered in China, have formed a strategic alliance to provide marketing services to clients in each other’s respective markets.
 
The power of the Internet has never been stronger in China, and the potential for international travel and tourism companies to increase brand awareness and generate demand from this emerging market can now be realized. This partnership will provide MMGY and its North American destination and travel service clients the ability to cost effectively reach the Chinese market through the increasingly popular social and digital channels. Chinese travel destinations and travel service brands working with Dragon Trail will now have access to MMGY’s market insights and travel marketing expertise in order to more effectively reach and influence North American travelers interested in visiting China.
 
Dragon Trail’s new consumer-facing platform TripShow.com, which is built on top of Sina Weibo, the most engaging social media platform in China, already the second most active social media platform in the world behind only Facebook, enables travel organizations and Chinese consumers to connect. Brand-related images and videos posted by Chinese travelers are aggregated from Sina Weibo to a dedicated brand page on Tripshow.com and may then be moderated and curated by the brand, organized into albums and trip itineraries, and integrated into tour packages, promotions, as well as linked to a call to action such as booking engines for inspired Tripshow.com users.
