Amadeus has signed KLM up to its Full Content Option, which secures the airline’s complete public inventory of flights and fares. Travel agents and corporations worldwide can now access these fares using Amadeus, with no GDS surcharge on these bookings.

By signing the agreement, KLM assures travel agencies that schedules, fares, last seat availability and associated inventory available through Amadeus will be the same as content offered in the following channels:

  • Any internet website, including KLM’s own website
  • The airline’s own reservation system
  • Any other GDS

Nearly fifty leading European airlines have signed the Full Content Option. Amadeus Full Content Option is available to all airlines for the European market.

Frederic Spagnou, Vice President, Amadeus Airline Business Group, says: “This agreement is further proof of Amadeus’ commitment to delivering the most relevant content to travel agents and corporations around the world.”

Rob Westerman, Director Distribution Strategy KLM said: We are delighted to have reached this agreement with Amadeus. By signing this agreement we confirm that both Amadeus and the travel agent continue to be a valuable distribution channel for us.

In Asia Pacific, KLM operates or codeshares flights to Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand and Singapore.
