The tea ceremony also includes English explanations of the various utensils and practices of the tea ceremony.
Visitors from over 100 countries around the world, currently account for over 70% of all guests staying at the Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo. In order to satisfy the demands of our overseas guests, our hotel provides complimentary Wi-Fi service, exchange service for over 12 foreign currencies, traditional Japanese art exhibitions, opportunities to try on traditional Japanese wedding “kimonos,” live Japanese harp “koto” music, and other opportunities to experience Japanese culture. As part of these efforts to inform overseas visitors about Japanese culture and due to the strong response similar tea ceremonies have received in the past, our hotel has decided to conduct tea ceremonies on a regularly scheduled basis. Moreover, these tea ceremonies are available to visitors who are not staying at our hotel, because the Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo is one of the only hotels within central Tokyo with tea ceremony facilities.
