IDeaS and TMS Asia Pacific sign strategic partnership

IDeaS a SAS Company, the premier provider of pricing, forecasting and optimisation solutions and services, has entered into a strategic partnership with TMS Asia Pacific to provide extensive Revenue Management education as part of the recruitment specialist’s recently launched TMS Academy syllabus.

Conducted by IDeaS consulting practice, IDeaS Advantage, the first ‘Revenue Management Concept Workshop’ is scheduled to be held at the TMS Academy in Singapore from 12-13 August.

Using IDeaS extensive knowledge in pricing, forecasting and optimisation within the hospitality industry worldwide, participants who complete the courses will be well equipped to apply industry best practice principles to optimise revenues and in turn profit for their organizations.

Announcing the agreement TMS CEO Andrew Chan said he was delighted to be partnering with IDeaS and to be able to leverage the skill set within the IDeaS Advantage Consulting practice.

“TMS has long recognized the significant knowledge gap that still exists in many companies in the area of revenue optimisation,” he said.

“IDeaS, with its over 20 years of experience of providing pricing, forecasting and optimization solutions and services to leading hospitality, travel and transportation companies worldwide is the ideal partner for TMS to narrow this gap across Asia Pacific and beyond.

“While both TMS and IDeaS stand to gain exponentially from the pooling of resources, those with the most to gain will be those attending the TMS Academy workshops.”

Added Klaus Kohlmayr, Director IDeaS Advantage, the organisation was excited to be partnering with TMS Asia Pacific. “Both TMS and IDeaS have always put service delivery first and we are delighted to have been chosen by TMS to help educate the industry as part of the TMS Academy.”
