HotelTravel.com inks PayPal agreement

HotelTravel.com has signed an agreement with PayPal, the leading global online payment gateway, and will officially launch the new payment option to customers by early October. According to HotelTravel.com Chief Technology Officer, Graham Johnson, PayPal provides HotelTravel.com customers with a safer and easier way to book and pay for hotels online all around the world.

“Millions of consumers around the world prefer the PayPal payment method simply because of its safety and ease of use.

“With PayPal, HotelTravel.com adds yet another highly secure payment method for its customer’s convenience. We are continuing to expand our payment options to offer even greater flexibility for HotelTravel.com clients booking hotel accommodation around the world,” Mr Johnson added.

Since its founding in 1998, PayPal has grown to become a global leader in online payment solutions. PayPal allows HotelTravel.com’s customers to transact securely without disclosing their personal financial information online.

PayPal has over 225 million active users in 190 markets, providing a safer and easier way to pay for hotels and travel online from around the world.

HotelTravel.com is adding PayPal just in time for the upcoming peak season around Southeast Asia. Mr Johnson predicted it would help drive demand with leisure travellers planning holidays and looking for good deals on hotels in Koh Samui, hotels in Phuket or hotels in Bali.

He also expected it would also appeal to corporate clients looking for Hong Kong hotels, Singapore hotels or Bangkok hotels.
