The 25th edition of HOTELEX & Expo FineFood Shanghai will be held in the Shanghai New International Expo Center in Pudong from March 29, 2016 to April 1, 2016. The overall exhibition area covers over 200,000 square meters.

SHANGHAI – HOTELEX & Expo FineFood Shanghai is one of the Asia’s leading hospitality and catering trade shows with the largest scale, the strongest influence and the highest quality. The 25th edition will be held in the Shanghai New International Expo Center in Pudong (No. 2345 Longyang Road, Pudong New District) from March 29, 2016 to April 1, 2016. The “King Flower Cup” 3rd Shanghai International Fashion Drinks Final will be grandly held in HOTELEX Shanghai 2016, aimed to promote domestic innovative drink formulas and designs, and to showcase the most innovative, the most aesthetic and the healthiest drinks. Originated in 2014, the competition is to further drive the development of the drink market and lead the future trends by means of interpretation and competition in fashionable drinks. There will be drink masters challenges, consumer group interactions for both suppliers and experts to participate in. The event, roadshow, contest, tasting, interaction and innovation all are for defining what is a “fashionable drink.
 
The “Rising Star” Chef Competition Final
The competition will invite “future chefs” from western colleges and universities across the country, to display the rising stars of the western food industry, identify future professionals of the western food industry for kitchen equipment manufacturers and food ingredient suppliers, show the applications of modern science and technology in cooking skills and enhance the innovation process of cuisine with the times. In the meantime, specialty teaching levels from colleges and universities can be broadened through exchanging cooking skills in western food; Colleges and universities can also increase their a wareness regarding western food and strengthen communication and cooperation with western brands.
 
Foodservice in the 21st Century
As an annual industry event held at HOTELEX Shanghai, Foodservice in the 21st Century will focus on the trickiest issues in the catering industry management and operation, introduce overseas advanced case studies and revolutionary concepts and provide the Chinese catering industry employers and equipment suppliers with the firsthand solutions and market movements from the perspective of sustainability. The forum in 2015 invited the designers of Ricca Design Studios to interpret the future development trends of the commercial kitchens; and the third party institution NPD Group provided hotel and catering enterprises with one-stop solution of commercial kitchens from the perspective of market demand; and finally industry experts discussed and share experiences and cases.
 
Sustainability in the Hospitality Industry
First launched at HOTELEX Shanghai 2015, the “Sustainability in the Hospitality Industry” is organized by Shanghai UBM Sinoexpo International Exhibition Co., Ltd, together with the world’s top business school – KEDGE Business School, SJTU – KEDGE Business School-AEMBA Supply Chain Innovation & Facilitation Centre, and SGS, a world’s leading inspection, verification, testing and certification institution. This year, the forum will focus on sustainable development, enterprise strategies, brands, innovation and execution, to help enterprise decision-makers better exert values of enterprise social responsibilities and thus to generate the true long-term benefits. The forum also specially invited experts in sustainable development study, and persons in charge of sustainable development business of hotels and enterprises in the procurement supply chain of hotels to share experience of their own field.
