Egencia and Southwest Airlines sign new content agreement

Egencia, an Expedia, Inc. company, announced that it has reached an agreement with Southwest Airlines that will provide Egencia corporate clients with improved access to the carrier’s content and functionality.

This new agreement will allow Egencia clients that have corporate agreements with Southwest to have direct access to Southwest Airlines fares and schedules via Egencia’s industry leading booking technology as well as through Egencia customer service agents. Additionally these clients will be able to fully integrate Southwest bookings into their Egencia reporting. Under this agreement, Egencia clients will benefit from:
– Direct access to Southwest fares and last seat inventory
– Booking and ticketing that supports the Rapid Rewards member number
– A wide range of functionality including cancel and exchange of reservations
