Marhaba Services and Dubai Visa Assistance in India

dnata partners with Cox & Kings Global Services

dnata, the fourth largest air services provider in the world has announced a partnership with Cox & Kings Global Services (CKGS), a 100 per cent subsidiary of Cox & Kings Ltd to provide visa processing and Marhaba Meet and Greet Services for travellers visiting Dubai and Sharjah.

The partnership, to be referred to as CNKMDV, will offer visitors the chance to arrange and pre-purchase Marhaba services to complement their arrival and ensure a smooth passage through Dubai International Airport. CNKMDV will also assist with the processing of tourist visas (valid for up to 30 days) and transit visas (valid for a stay of up to 96 hours).

Marhaba – which means ‘welcome’ in Arabic is a premium Meet and Greet service designed to help passengers arriving at and departing from Dubai International Airport. Marhaba offers a range of services including family and individual packages as well as exclusive lounges access, available to all passengers for a competitively priced fee. Marhaba services can be booked regardless of the class of travel or which airline is being used.

“Dubai is known for its efficiency and hospitality and there is no greater demonstration of this than the warm welcome afforded by our Marhaba team,” said Ismail Ali Albanna, Executive Vice President, dnata. “Our partnership with Cox and Kings will allow us to widen the availability and ease of booking to Indian travellers”.

“This is the beginning of what we believe to be a very fruitful relationship with dnata” said Sanjay Bhaduri, CEO, CKGS. “Our partnership will surely benefit Indian travellers and their families providing them with a seamless travel experience to Dubai.”

CNKMDV has opened 11 Dubai Visa Marhaba application centres across India, with specialised sales coordinators on hand to provide advice and make customer bookings for Marhaba services and assist with processing visa applications. A UAE specific, overseas travel insurance plan is also available at a reasonable cost to cover the passengers against any unexpected expenses during their visit to UAE.

It should be noted that CNKMDV provides the facility for advice and assistance with visa application and processing, however, the decision whether or not to grant a visa is the sole prerogative of Dubai Naturalisation and Residency Department (DNRD), also known as Dubai Immigration.
