CPN is holding the ‘Lighten Up Together’ campaign and inviting Thai people to share in joy and solidarity with each other

The campaign ‘Lighten Up Together’, sharing happiness and solidarity with each other will be held from 10th December 2016 – 15th January 2017 at CentralWorld and over 30 branches of CentralPlaza and CentralFestival nationwide.

Central Pattana Plc (CPN) is joining hands with MasterCard, Thai Life Card and The 1 Card to invite all Thai people to enjoy a simple countdown to the New Year by sharing joy and solidarity in a campaign called ‘Lighten Up Together’. Over 10 million decorative lights will embellish all of CPN’s shopping centers, with the largest gift festival in Southeast Asia to be held from 10th December 2016 – 15th January 2017 at CentralWorld and also over 30 branches of CentralPlaza and CentralFestival nationwide. 
 
Dr. Nattakit Tangpoonsinthana, Executive Vice President of Marketing of CPN mentioned: “During New Year’s Eve and the New Year Festival, CPN, a leader in retail real estate development, will adopt the principles of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej and inspire Thai people by decorating CentralWorld and over 30 branches of CentralPlaza and CentralFestival with elegant simplicity in decorative lighting, and white and green decorative items on the Christmas trees. We will hold special activities to honor the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej and light candles to demonstrate his inspiration in all Thai people’s minds, with solidarity, and to hold the late Kings principles as a shining light for a way of life and to pass on those magnificent principles to the next generation.
 
The business direction towards the end of the year is expected to be relatively active as there will be festivals where people spend more on shopping, and tourists usually buy gifts and presents for their loved ones during this time. CPN will organize the largest gift festival in Southeast Asia, with a wide range of products to offer various choices for both Thai and foreign customers. In addition, CPN will present more happiness to our customers by holding a special promotion for those who shop and dine at CPN’s shopping centers. The promotions include the chance to win the ‘Shop 1,000 Returns 10,000 Shop 10,000 Returns 100,000 Prize’; when you spend 5,000 baht on shopping, you will get a free DD tote bag and special brown rice from the Royal Project etc. 
 
“CPN is investing one million baht in the ‘Lighten Up Together’ campaign in order to help boost spending and for people to share happiness and solidarity with one another. It is estimated that the traffic in CPN’s shopping centers nationwide will increase by around 30%,” Dr. Nattakit mentioned.
