The Hotel Security Excellence Award is jointly presented by the Singapore Police Force, National Crime Prevention Council (NCPC) and the Singapore Hotel Association (SHA).
SINGAPORE – Concorde Hotel Singapore announced that it has received the Hotel Security Excellence Award at an awards presentation ceremony held in conjunction with the annual Hotel Security Conference.
This annual award is jointly presented by the Singapore Police Force, National Crime Prevention Council (NCPC) and the Singapore Hotel Association (SHA), to recognize Hotels which have raised security standards and have achieved the Singapore Standards for Hotel Security (SS545).
To qualify for the Hotel Security Excellence Award, hotels have to undergo a stringent audit which includes inspection of physical security, contingency and crisis plans, and training procedures. All documents and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) must be in compliance with SS545.

In 2011, Concorde Hotel Singapore was awarded the Hotel Security Award for establishing good security measures based on SS545 standards. Not resting on its laurels, Concorde Hotel Singapore has continued to improve and develop its security standards and procedures, as demonstrated by being awarded the Hotel Security Excellence Award in 2012.
