Blaine J. Blanchard has been named Chief Executive of deSter, a member of gategroup and a world leader in food presentation concepts and onboard service equipment for the travel industry. The appointment is effective immediately.

As head of deSter, Blanchard takes long-term strategic and day-to-day management responsibility for the company’s worldwide commercial operations and manufacturing facilities in Belgium and Thailand. “deSter’s business model rests on the integration of research and development, in-house production, global sourcing and distribution in a supply-chain approach.
