Asia gets closer to Helsinki with increased flights

Finnair has increased its frequencies to Asia since the beginning of June and is introducing a sixth Boeing MD-11 aircraft to its long-haul fleet.

From May 31, the carrier added two more flights to Shanghai bringing the number of flights up to five. Another two frequencies were also added to the Osaka route also bringing the number of weekly flights up to five.

Finnair flights to Asia have doubled during the past two years ago. In addition to the new Shanghai and Osaka

frequencies, the airline flies daily to Bangkok, from which it continues four times a week to Singapore and three times a week to Hong Kong.
