Air France: New code-share flights with Aeroflot

As from Monday 20 September 2010, Air France and Aeroflot have started to commercialize code-share flights beyond their respective hubs at Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Moscow-Sheremetyevo.

In this way, Air France now sells flights with AF flight numbers to six destinations in Russia, operated by Aeroflot from Moscow to Khabarovsk, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk, Yekaterinburg and Nizhnevartovsk.

In the same way, Aeroflot sells flights with SU flight numbers to four destinations in France, operated by Air France from Paris to Lyon, Marseille, Strasbourg and Toulouse.

These code-share flights will start operating on 24 October 2010.

In this way, Air France and Aeroflot are implementing the cooperation agreement signed in March 2010. This agreement is in addition to the one already in force between the two airlines since 2002 which only concerned flights between Paris and Moscow.

Thanks to this new code-share agreement, Air France and Aeroflot can now offer their customers an improved quality of service by providing easier access to their respective networks.
