Air China and Shenzhen Airlines selects V2500 engines for 18 and 13 firm A320ceo family aircraft respectively

The V2500 engine is offered through IAE International Aero Engines AG, a multinational aero engine consortium whose shareholders comprise Pratt & Whitney.

AIR SHOW CHINA – Air China and Shenzhen Airlines have selected the V2500 engine to power 18 and 13 firm Airbus A320ceo family aircraft respectively. The V2500 engine is offered through IAE International Aero Engines AG, a multinational aero engine consortium whose shareholders comprise Pratt & Whitney, a division of United Technologies Corp.; Pratt & Whitney Aero Engines International GmbH; Japanese Aero Engines Corporation; and MTU Aero Engines GmbH.

Founded in 1988, Air China is China’s only national flag carrier and a member of the world’s largest airline network, Star Alliance. Established in 1992, Shenzhen Airlines, a member of the Star Alliance, operates passenger, freight and postal transport.
