Myanmar`s Air Bagan and Cambodian airline PMT Air are now available on the Amadeus distribution system as the GDS announced. The move will enable all travel agents and airline ticketing offices to access content and book flights on the two airlines via the Amadeus system.

Air Bagan is an airline based in Myanmar, and PMT Air (Progress Multitrade Co.,Ltd.) is a Cambodia-based airline. Both airlines offer regularly scheduled flights to domestic and key regional destinations.

Air Bagan and PMT Air join more than 500 airlines that already distribute their flights on the Amadeus system.

Gopi Bala, Air Bagan Senior Sales and Marketing Manager, said, Myanmar is attracting an increasing number of travellers. In order to take full advantage of the booming tourism industry we need to broaden our reach within the global market. Through our new partnership with Amadeus, we can ensure that travellers can access tickets on our airline and make bookings with ease and convenience.

Damian Hickey, Vice President Airline Business Group, Amadeus Asia Pacific said, Tourism in the Asia-Pacific region has been growing exponentially. Amadeus, with our unmatched global distribution system, is delighted to be able to support partners like Air Bagan and PMT Air by increasing accessibility for customer bookings. This will assist them in growing their businesses from regional airlines with limited reach, to carriers with an international customer base.
