Accor rolls out first ibis Styles hotels in Malaysia

Two new ibis Styles hotels, ibis Styles Kuala Lumpur Fraser Business Park and ibis Styles Kuala Lumpur Cheras open doors to guests in October 2012.

Accor is ramping up its presence in Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia with the debut of ibis Styles, Accor’s brand of premium economy and design hotels – catering to business and leisure travellers with great value all-inclusive accommodation including breakfast and free internet access. The two Kuala Lumpur ibis Styles hotels – ibis Styles Kuala Lumpur Fraser Business Park and ibis Styles Kuala Lumpur Cheras – begin welcoming guests in October 2012.

“The opening of ibis Styles Kuala Lumpur Fraser Business Park and ibis Styles Kuala Lumpur Cheras will mark the arrival of the first international premium economy hotel brand in Malaysia,” says Mr. Gerard Guillouet, Senior Vice President of Accor Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore. “Guests can experience two new styles with one international identity in two different locations.”

Ibis Styles Kuala Lumpur Cheras, opened for business on 1 October 2012, featuring vibrant stylish design with modern facilities. The hotel is conveniently located in the bustling commercial and light industrial area of South Cheras.

A 15-minute drive from Kuala Lumpur City Centre and 30 minutes from Kuala Lumpur International Airport, the hotel is adjacent to the new C180 shopping complex with a wide selection of retail outlets and restaurants.

It is an ideal choice for business travellers and small-to-medium meetings. The hotel boasts 156 comfortable guestrooms, a restaurant, bar and five well-appointed meeting rooms.

Ibis Styles Kuala Lumpur Fraser Business Park, which has 500 rooms is one of the largest ibis Styles hotels in Asia-Pacific, will open its doors on 25 October 2012.

Ibis Styles Kuala Lumpur Fraser Business Park combines convenience and comfortable accommodation in the heart of Kuala Lumpur’s newest shopping and lifestyle development – Fraser Business Park, in Sungei Besi. The hotel boasts direct access to Chan Sow Lin Light Rail Transit (LRT) station for easy connectivity to major business areas, shopping malls and attractions within Kuala Lumpur‟s Golden Triangle. The hotel is also connected to the new Complex Metro Pudu, offering a wide range of retail outlets and eateries.
