Pullman Hotels designed for the modern business and leisure traveler, announced the addition of 5 hotels to its ever growing network in Asia. The new hotel developments are located in China, Thailand and Vietnam adding to the current operating network of 10 Pullman hotels and resorts in Asia and extending the development commitments to 17 hotels.

The tightening of credit markets has challenged the expansion for traditional 5 star hotel brands and created a niche for the Pullman Brand to expand.”
Pullman Pattaya Aisawan (currently Aisawan Resort & Spa) will be re branded at the end of 2009 following the completion of extensive renovations that have already commenced. Renovations will see the addition of Pullman identifying elements such as innovative food and beverage concepts, Co-Meetings and signature services such as Pullman Welcomer’s and dedicated Event Managers.
This beachfront hotel with 353 guest rooms is located on the quiet and private Wongamart Beach, only 30 minutes from U-Tapao International Airport and 90 minutes from Bangkok. The hotel has extensive meeting and conference facilities that cater up to 500 people and the poolside beachfront area that can also be used for more informal events.
Pullman Phuket Arcadia Naithon Beach will be a newly built, beach front hotel situated on the white sandy and quiet Naithon Beach, one of Phuket’s newest and most promising bays, and is only 15 minutes by car from the Phuket International Airport. With 260 guest rooms and 20 villas, the hotel has comprehensive facilities including three restaurants, a lobby bar, two pools with pool bars, a fitness centre, day spa, as well as meeting facilities. The hotel will open in late 2011.
Pullman Shanghai Pudong Zhangjiang will be a new 300 guest room hotel located in the high tech development and trade zone in Pudong Shanghai. With three restaurants and a bar, the hotel will also feature a swimming pool, health centre, business centre and extensive conference facilities including a 650 sqm pillar less ballroom and six additional venues. The hotel is scheduled to open in 2010.
Pullman Shanghai South will open in June 2013 with 305 rooms. This new construction will form a part of the Shanghai Zhongxing City project, comprising of the hotel, office building and shopping mall. The hotel is located opposite the Shanghai South Train Station with facilities to include three restaurants, two bars, indoor swimming pool, health centre and spa, business centre and 1000 sqm ballroom and six meeting rooms.
Pullman Hanoi Horison after extensive renovations which are due for completion in mid 2011, the Horison Hotel Hanoi will join the Pullman network. The hotel with 250 rooms is located in the prime city location on Cat Linh Street with close proximity to the Gian Vo Exhibition Centre. The hotel has event facilities to cater to 1000 delegates.
These new developments are in addition to the previously announced commitments for 12 Pullman hotels to open in China, Indonesia, India and Vietnam.
