Thailand bags “Upcoming International Tourism Board” Award from TAAI

The Tourism Authority of Thailand was awarded the "Upcoming International Tourism Board" for 2012 from the Travel Agents Association of India.

MUMBAI- The Tourism Authority of Thailand has bagged the prestigious “Upcoming International Tourism Board” of the Year 2012 Award from The Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI).

In a function held in Mumbai on 23rd October 2012, TAT was presented with TAAI Appreciation Award for being the most promising upcoming international tourism board. The award was presented by Shri Subodh Kant Sahai, Minister for Tourism, Govt. of India.

TAAI Travel Awards aims to acknowledge and award the contributions made by the captains of the Travel & Tourism Industry. “We expect that the number of tourists from India to Thailand will cross the 1 million mark this year. This award encourages us to continue our marketing efforts to realise this goal. We would like to thank all our partners, friends and colleagues in the Indian travel trade for their valuable support and hope for their continued support in future,” said Ms Suladda Sarutilavan, Assistant Director TAT Mumbai Office.
