CHENGDU, China – Niccolo Chengdu has recently announced the promotion of Mr. Simon Wang, Director of Sales and Marketing, to Executive Assistant Manager – Sales and Marketing. Besides Sales and Marketing, he will be responsible for hotel operations, especially restaurants and bars, as well as banqueting. For more than a decade, Mr. Simon Wang has gained rich experience in his tenure in Shangri-la, Accor and other hotels. He is experienced in hotel sales and marketing strategy, revenue analysis and reservations management.

Thanks to his professionalism, broad vision, sharp insights and charisma, Niccolo Chengdu successfully entered the competitive market. During his tenure in Niccolo Chengdu, Mr. Simon Wang and his team have obtained numbers of awards and achievements for the hotel with his outstanding personal charisma and extraordinary management skills.
Starting from the hotel’s pre-opening, Mr. Simon Wang has led the team to accomplish 3 wedding shows and 1 anniversary ceremony. These events have drawn tremendous attention from luxury brands, consulates and media, and gained positive reputation for the hotel. In December 2016, the highly respected BMW Hotelier Award Ceremony was hosted in Macao. Mr. Simon Wang, as Director of Sales and Marketing for Niccolo Chengdu, was awarded Sales Hotelier of the Year. Besides these achievements, Mr. Simon Wang also led the hotel ADR, OCC and RevPAR to achieve and maintain first place in the Chengdu hotel market.
