Families first with Jetstar’s new dedicated family website

Australia’s low fares airline Jetstar is launching a new website entirely dedicated to family travel, with specialised information and tips for travelling with children. will host a range of information and services including:

• What to expect when flying
• Holiday ideas
• Competitions
• Tips for expecting mothers
• Advice on what to do when you arrive at your destination.

Jetstar Chief Executive Officer Alan Joyce said the airline wanted to create a website that helps parents, families and children to become even more informed when planning and organising their holiday.

“The website provides parents with helpful and practical information to make their holiday planning easier and more enjoyable.  It is especially relevant to families who are flying with young children for the first time as it gives them reassurance of what to expect,” Mr Joyce said.

“Jetstar has extensive experience in carrying families to their holiday destination or to visit friends and relatives. We clearly see families-on-holidays as a key part of our business, reinforced by this latest commitment to offering free, specialised information at the click of a mouse.

“Parents can now source a range of family friendly holiday ideas and research holiday packages and activities to get the most out of their important family trip away.”
