Viceroy Bali expands its exclusive villas and services

In a development that will nearly double its inventory of luxury villas, the prestigious Viceroy Bali has announced the completion of a clutch of new villas by July, 2011. The lauded highland property located near the artist village of Ubud has also signed off on the design of its tennis facility and valley-side yoga pavilion set to open in November, 2011.

“The new villas represent a fairly significant new direction with clean lines and a vibrant design that is simple and elegant, each with a commodious space that includes a living room with sectional sofa, oversized king bed, espresso machine, 47-inch TV, iPod docking station and of course each with a private pool and outdoor sheltered pavilion,” said General Manager Anthony Syrowarka. “And perhaps equally exciting is the upcoming launch of our tennis and yoga centers, both carefully designed amongst nature.”

To ensure that equally impressive service meets its high standards in accommodation, newly appointed Guest Service Manager, Jonathan Sweeney-Lowe will give burnish to the guest experience. “We noticed the small luxury category on Bali often goes without a concierge or guest service manager, duties merely lumped into those of a general manager,” said Sweeney-Lowe. “As the bar is raised quite high here at the Viceroy, what with an on-site helipad and one of the top dining venues on the island, this new position provides a level of service that is as luxurious as the accommodation itself.”

Like its Lembah spa and Cascades restaurant, each villa faces a primary forest with untrammeled views and sights and sounds of tropical flora and fauna. In contrast, the busy village of Ubud with its welter of galleries and bric-a-brac shops and free-spirited air is only minutes away.

“We’re very aware our guests, whether honeymooners or families, love the generous space of the villas. Typically we don’t see guests around much except for breakfast or dinner at Cascades. With such complete in-villa facilities, it’s easy to while away hours with your companion or family,” said Syrowarka. “And as much as our guests enjoy this thoroughly private accommodation, we provide on-call shuttle service to Ubud for those who wish to shop and stroll. We’re blessed with this location both for its pristine surroundings and for its easeful access to one of S.E. Asian’s most charming towns.”

The Viceroy Bali has received considerable attention from newlyweds who seek the unhurried nature of the destination. Sweeney-Lowe and his team are currently preparing to launch their latest program, a honeymoon package that factors in a volcano tour by helicopter, in-villa butler dining catered by award-winning Cascades restaurant, a couples massage, and a few more surprises Sweeney-Lowe said will be revealed at press time. “Those couples who book this truly royal honeymoon package can expect uncompromised levels of service.”
