truvle upgrades e-mail tickets and itineraries

truvle’s latest upgrade makes travel planning easier than ever. The software works with multiple GDS systems, turning the e-mail itinerary into a handy tool for customized travel.

Offered free to travel agents, truvle software gives e-tickets and itineraries a bright new look with colorful graphics as well as links to useful trip information. Harnessing the power of the Internet, the upgraded e-itineraries become the gateway to a full spectrum of destination offerings tailored to each traveler’s destination, travel dates, flight class and more.

“truvle is integrated into agents’ existing booking systems to vastly expand their scope of services,” explains Alon Zaibert, founder and CEO, truvle Ltd. “Agents quickly become valuable resources for air travel as well as for destination entertainment, dining, accommodations, recreation and more.

“The software is enjoying enthusiastic reviews from agents, who tell us truvle enables them to provide comprehensive, Travelocity/Expedia/Orbitz-like services quickly and easily,” Zaibert adds.

Personal Home Page Tour
The heartbeat of truvle technology is its newly upgraded Personal Home Page. This page offers recommendations – for concerts, shows, restaurants, nightlife, sporting events, shopping, dining, cultural attractions, hotels and more – tailored to each passenger’s destination and travel dates. To explain how the software works, Zaibert offers the following Personal Home Page tour.

First, agents provide passengers with the new graphic- and information-rich e-itineraries. A click of a link takes each traveler to his or her own Personal Home Page. There, the overview page serves as a hub offering airport check-in links as well as vital trip information, such as weather forecasts, currency exchange rates, driving directions, e-maps and more.

Suppose a traveler wants to take in a show during an upcoming trip to New York. By clicking on the Personal Home Page’s Entertainment icon, he’ll receive a list of what’s playing while he’s in town. Perhaps he’s looking for a great sushi bar close to the hotel. The Restaurant icon will take him to a complete listing of nearby options. The Personal Home Page has icons for Sports, Events, Families and more. Travelers can click on links to get more information, make reservations and buy tickets.

“No longer will people need to invest a lot of time going from Web site to Web site to make travel arrangements.” Zaibert explains. “truvle’s easy-to-view Personal Home Page provides immediate access to a wealth of targeted options. It puts the essential information in one place, making the agent a one-stop-shop for the entire trip.”

For added convenience, the software provides SMS services, allowing agents to offer flight alerts. Simply by registering in the Personal Home Page, travelers will get text messages on their mobile devices notifying them of any flight delays or cancellations.

The Personal Home Page even allows easy integration into Microsoft Outlook calendars, letting travelers view trip details on their laptops and mobile devices while on the go. Content is constantly updated, using major networks to provide myriad options for a productive and enjoyable trip. For agents, help is always on hand through truvle’s 24-7 support.
