TripAtlas PRO CRM tool designed for travel agents by travel agents

When Steven Kaufman, CTC, the president and co-developer behind the world’s largest online travel resource, TripAtlas.com, set forth to create a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool, he drew on his own travel agency experience as well as that of the agents he worked with in his previous roles heading up consortia such as Vacation.com and GEM Travel Canada.  The end result combines innovative functionality with user-friendly simplicity in order to achieve maximum results with even the most computer illiterate agent.

The CRM tool is available to travel agents with an Enhanced Membership with TripAtlas PRO (TripAtlasPro.com), the industry side of TripAtlas.com.

“While functionality is a key component, our primary goal was to create a CRM interface so simple that any travel agent can pick it up in a matter of seconds,” said Kaufman. “For more ambitious agents, however, we’ve added increased capabilities beyond tracking clients and potential leads, including the ability to monitor trends on a micro level,” noted Kaufman.

Not to be confused with the TripAtlas PRO Trend Tracker, which offers insight into consumer travel behavior across a wide spectrum, the tracking functionality within the CRM portal enables agents to examine trends within their own market and customer database.  This can help TripAtlas PRO retailers fine-tune their marketing initiatives and take advantage of consumer inclinations within a specific market at a time when clients are most likely to book.

In addition to accessing the TripAtlas PRO proprietary CRM portal, travel agents who sign up for a TripAtlas PRO Enhanced Membership receive 150 consumer travel leads per year (additional leads also available at less than $0.99 each), the ability to postan unlimited number of travel packages online, access to travel trends, as well as an “Online Storefront.”

“Online Storefronts” are enhanced company profiles which allow tour operators and retail agencies to market themselves online with a variety of components including website links, 10 descriptive keyword tags, detailed contact information, photos and staff bios.
