Sphere Conferences announces inaugural Hospitality Investement Conference Vietnam 2016

According to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, the country also saw a 13.5% year-on-year increase in arrivals from Russia during the quarter.

SINGAPORE – Sphere Conferences, the conference arm of Singapore Press Holdings Limited (SPH), announced the launch of the inaugural Hospitality Investment Conference Vietnam (HICV), which will be held from 12 to 13 July at The Reverie Saigon, Vietnam.

The recent statistics by STR showed that Vietnam recorded a 5.6% increase in occupancy to 68.7%. There was a 4.5% rise in Average Daily Rate (ADR) to USD130 and Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR) grew by 10.3% to USD89. According to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, the country also saw a 13.5% year-on-year increase in arrivals from Russia during the quarter. STR analysts note that the country is viewed as a more secure destination compared to other traditional destinations for Russians. The Vietnamese government has eased visa policies and recorded the highest ADR to date.

The discussion topics at the two-day Conference include the Vietnam investment climate and development outlook; hotel branding and designing in a market of timeless charm; contract negotiation; operator selection; presenting hospitality to the millennials; the gaming sector; new destinations; golf courses and hospitality complexes.
