Ms. Ursula Schoefl has been appointed Director of Rooms at the Sheraton Hong Kong Hotel & Towers effective from May 17, 2004.Under her new role, Ursula is responsible for managing and overseeing the operations of the Rooms Divisions.

Ursula joined Sheraton Frankfurt in Germany after graduating from the Hotel Management School Schloss Klessheim in Salzburg, Austria. She started her career in food & beverage and then switched to front office.

Ursula also worked for night audit and received 2 years of assistant controller training before returning to front office again, where she later became Assistant Front Office Manager. After ten years with Sheraton Frankfurt, she took up the position of Front Office Manager at the ArabellaSheraton Hotel.

Eager to meet new challenge, Ursula has taken up various Sheraton overseas positions in Front Office and Rooms Division in Egypt, Tanzania, China and Malaysia. Prior to joining the Sheraton Hong Kong, Ursula was the Rooms Division Manager for the opening of Sheraton Hanoi Hotel. During her overseas assignments, she demonstrated quick adaptation to new culture and environment that has taken her career to a new level.

Ursula holds onto the belief of thinking in new perspectives. Able to change and improve with the times is always her motto of being successful in the hospitality industry. Leveraging her extensive hotel experience, the appointment of Ursula shall bring great value to the growth and development of the Sheraton Hong Kong.
