Presented at a ceremony in Shanghai Dec. 11, The Hotelier Awards China recognises and honours dedicated professionals who go above and beyond to make every hotel experience memorable for each guest. The ceremony – a celebration of brilliance and the pinnacle of appreciation of the people bringing life to a hotel – saw over 300 hoteliers and industry professionals gather to see the results across 16 categories.

In its inaugural year, The Hotelier Awards received close to 300 applications from more than 100 hotel properties within 44 different brands throughout mainland China, Macao and Hong Kong. The winners of each category were decided by a panel of independent experts through a two-round process and were based on a combination of facts presented in their application, personal interviews and testimonials.

We are extremely proud that two of our staff members won such prominent awards at the Hotelier Awards China. The awards are a great credit to their professionalism and dedication in their respective fields,” said Gunther Hatt, Executive Vice President of Operations, Sands China Ltd. “At Sands China we offer many training programmes for employee development, leadership and professional growth.
