Paradizo.com offers new luxury tours for 2011 travel trend

As 2010 comes to a close, luxury travel experts are starting to mark the rising luxury travel trends for 2011. In a recent interview with Luxury Travel Magazine, the COO of travel company Cox & Kings, Thomas Stanley, named his predictions for 2011 travel trends. The hot luxury vacation offers for 2011 include the revival of group tours, educational travel, contemporary cultural travel, train excursions and the unique “Bucket List” experiences. Gone are the days of the cookie-cutter massive group tour following the umbrella, instead, savvy tour operators are meeting the demand for customized travel options and featuring more personal and eye-opening experiential luxury tours and vacations.

Keeping a finger on the luxury vacation pulse, the online travel portal Paradizo.com has announced its new sections for both luxury tours and tour operators. With categories such as luxury expeditions, heli-skiing and luxury trains, the private tours and holiday packages range in styles, trip length and services available from a wide variety of travel professionals from international tour agencies to locally-based private chefs.

“In order to better feature the services offered by travel professionals on Paradizo, the new tours section was the natural next step to ensure that Paradizo continues to meet, as well as surprise, the global traveler,” explained Paradizo founder and CEO, Ollivier Jacq.

Indeed, the tailor-made holidays featured on Paradizo offer up plenty of surprises – from a Tuscan-inspired Ferrari driving tour in Thailand, to personal heli-ski adventures in Whistler, to a 4-day private island getaway off the coast of Sardinia. The vacation experiences include customized small-group sightseeing tours as well as private cruises that discover the world by sea.

The assortment of the experiential vacations means that travelers have more choices from a wider variety of travel companies. Hotels can list their exclusive packages, such as spa days and honeymoon or wedding packages. Personal Chefs detail their private dinner menus and options for personalized cooking courses.

“Our new section for luxury tours allows us to best collaborate with luxury travel professionals and continue our commitment to offer the most comprehensive resource for luxury travel and the high life,” said Jacq.
