Nepal promotes its tourism product in FITUR 2006

Nepal has participated in the FITUR-2006 held at Madrid, Spain, which was inaugurated on 25th of January by His Majesty King Don Juan Carlos of Spain amidst a grand function. The Exhibition will run till 29th of January and expected to attend by 843 direct exhibitors (sellers), 12000 trade delegates from 170 countries and 200000 general visitors. The Exhibition is being organised in an area of 86000 sqm, and considered to be as one of the largest Tourism events of the world.

Nepal`s participation in the FITUR-2006 is coordinated by Nepal Association of Travel and Tour Association (NATTA) under the Nepal Tourism Board`s patronization. Four Companies from Nepal, Dolpa Treks, Explore Himalaya Travel & Adventure, South Asian Holidays and Air Globe Tours & Travels are taking part in the show. On the first day the Nepalese exhibitors experienced a good response from the visitors. Nepalese delegation is being led by Mr. Ram Kaji Koney, First Vice President of NATTA.
