Jet Airways enhances flight connectivity to Saudi Arabia with new daily services from Kochi and Chennai to Dammam

Option to fly to multiple destinations in Europe and Africa through gateway point Abu Dhabi, for travellers from Chennai.

MUMBAI – Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline, announced the addition of two daily flights that will further strengthen its growing international network in the Gulf with enhanced flight connectivity into Saudi Arabia. Effective January 15th 2014, Jet Airways will introduce two daily flights from Kochi and Chennai to Dammam in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. While the Chennai flight will be operated via Abu Dhabi to Dammam, the Kochi Dammam will be served by a daily direct flight.

Jet Airways flight 9W 570 will depart Kochi at 0620 hrs and arrive into Dammam at 0920 hrs (local time). The return flight 9W 569 will depart Dammam at 1020 (LT) and arrive at Chennai at 1720 hrs (LT). Furthermore, Jet Airways offers its guests from Kochi an evening option to Dammam via Abu Dhabi. 9W 576 Kochi to Abu Dhabi will be rescheduled to depart Kochi at 2040 hrs and arrive into Abu Dhabi at 2330 hrs, which in turn connects to 9W526 Abu Dhabi Dammam. With this, Jet Airways will now offer guest’s convenient and complementary morning and evening departures to Dammam from Kochi.

From Chennai the daily flight 9W 526 will depart at 2015 hrs and arrive into Abu Dhabi at 2325 hrs on January 15, 2014. The flight will depart at 0145 hrs (LT the next day) and arrive in Dammam at 0210 hrs (LT). On the return leg, 9W 525 will depart Dammam at 0650 hrs and arrive at Abu Dhabi at 0915 hrs (LT), and depart at Abu Dhabi at 1045 hrs to arrive at Chennai at 1615 hrs (LT). Jet Airways guests from Chennai will now have the option of connecting not only to Abu Dhabi, but to several destinations of their choice in Europe and Africa, when they transit over Abu Dhabi on interline and code share flights operated by our partner airlines

Jet Airways will now offer six non-stop flights to Saudi Arabia, with more one-stop options.

With these new enhanced flights, Jet Airways will achieve the landmark milestone of becoming India’s first private airline to operate over 50 daily flights to multiple destinations in the Gulf. This includes daily departures to Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Dubai, Doha, Kuwait, Sharjah, Jeddah, Dammam and Riyadh.

The airline will deploy a Boeing 737-800 aircraft on these two new services, offering Premiere and Economy guests an in-flight product that is among the best in its class, warm service, award-winning in-flight entertainment, as well as delectable cuisine and provide seamless connections to and from international and domestic destinations on the airline’s network from Chennai and Kochi.
