ITTFA members look ahead to another succesful year

Getting the year off to a good start is Vakantiebeurs, held in Utrecht, Holland and now in its 42nd year. The show welcomes both trade and consumer visitors over a period of 5 days from 11th January when it will be host to more than 140 countries displaying their travel products. Seminars and conferences will also be on offer as well as a variety of on stage attractions.

Also in January is Alpe-Adria: Tourism and Leisure Show. Held in Ljubljana it is the main tourism event of the Alps-Adriatic region, which includes the 10 individual regions of Italy, Austria, Hungary, Slovenia and Croatia in their entirety. The Alps-Adriatic region is becoming progressively more attractive for organised visits of tourists from long haul destinations such as China, Japan and the USA. The show will take place between 26 and 29 of January 2012.

ITTFA is dedicated to the continual development of the travel trade show industry, increasing participation and setting high standards worldwide. Recent changes to entry requirements and the annual fee structure mean that membership is more accessible to smaller and developing shows, as well as established ones.  This underlines the primary goals of the Association as it strives to improve travel trade exhibition standards across all markets and help maximize the benefits and levels of professionalism for both visitors and exhibitors.
