Hotusa Hotels adds 213 new partner hotels in the 1st half of 2011

In the first half of 2011, Hotusa Hotels added a total of 213 new partner hotels in 27 different countries to its portfolio. With these additions, the company is reinforcing its position as one of the leading hotel consortia internationally, offering a wide range of services which are particularly interesting among independent hotels in today’s economic climate, as seen by the growth in the portfolio.

In this sense, it is worth noting that 68% of the new additions (145) came internationally, the most important rise being in Italy (36), followed by Germany (14), France (11), and Greece (11). In Holland 9 new hotels were added, while the consortium added 8 new hotels in Portugal, Colombia and China. Likewise, during this period, Hotusa Hotels debuted in two new markets: Uruguay and Cape Verde, and it currently has hotel representation in 50 countries.

In parallel, during the first half of the year the company added 68 new hotels in Spain, with Andalusia (15) and Madrid (10) being the regions with the steepest growth. Of the 217 new hotels added since January, 74 came in the months of May and June, 18 in Spain and 56 abroad.

Today, Hotusa Hotels has more than 2,500 partner hotels in 26 European destinations (Germany, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Slovakia, Spain, Finland, France, Greece, Holland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Romania, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland and Turkey), 16 American countries (Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, USA, Guatemala, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela), 4 Asian countries (China, United Arab Emirates, India and Singapore) and 4 African countries (Cape Verde, Morocco, Mozambique and Tunisia).
